Lagos car snatcher suspects nabbed in Anambra

Police in Anambra has arrested of two persons in connection with the alleged theft of a Lexus 330 Jeep from the owner in Ajangbadi, Lagos State. The Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
He said, “At about 4:pm, following intelligence report, Police detectives attached to Awada Division recovered a Lexus 330 Jeep, Reg No AKL 189 NH which was allegedly snatched at gun point from one Anselm Enwereji ‘m’ sometime in Dec, 2018 at Ajangbadi, Lagos State.
“Two suspects were arrested in connection with the case and they have made useful statements to the police.
“Meanwhile, case will be handed over to Ajangbadi Division, Lagos State Command where the offence took place for further investigation and prosecution.”
Mohammed also confirmed the arrest of another suspect for being in possession of another stolen vehicle.
“At about 4:pm, following intelligence report, Police detectives attached to Harbour Division recovered a Toyota Hiaice bus allegedly stolen at the premises of Osun State Board of Internal Revenue, Osun State.
“The bus which was formerly white in colour has been repainted and registered with Onitsha South LGA of Anambra State,” he stated.
He said the case was also being investigated.
