The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has led protest against insecurity and killings in Nigeria urging the Federal Government to take drastic steps to improve security in the nation.

The protest action comes amid rising insecurity and killings of Nigerians and Christians in particular, with the kidnap and killing of clergymen by bandits and terrorists in the north, and denunciations by Christian groups.

Adeboye accompained by other RCCG members urged the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government and state government to rise up to its civic responsibility of securiting the lives and properties of the citizens stressing the need for the security infrastucture of the nation to be overhauled and improved drastically.

The GO and other protesters who carried different placards with different inscriptions such as “No to futher killing”, “All soul are precious to God”, “we say no to terrorism” amongst others offered prayers against insurgency, terrorism, kidnapping, armed robbery, millitancy and other vices.
